Ponsonby Home II Renovation & Extension

The main challenge of this villa renovation was a council sewer main running along the side of the property which meant we couldn't drill piles down the side of the property for the extension. The piles had to be moved in and the exterior wall had to be counter-levered out using steel beams. Due to the age of the property extreme care had to be taken with restoring the original features.

All traditional features of the villa were kept but modernised to create a seamless flow from the old to the new open plan rear extension.
